Programmatic Ad Operations Manager

A hands-on role at the intersection of technology, data, operations and commercial performance. You'll own our programmatic and RTB activity end to end and work directly with global agencies, app developers, SDKs and DSP partners.

Full time Programmatic & RTB No AdTech experience required

About the job

Mediaverse is looking for a technical, analytical and highly independent Programmatic Ad Operations Manager to join our growing team.

You'll take end-to-end ownership of our programmatic and RTB activity: from onboarding and troubleshooting partner integrations to analyzing performance, managing profitability, improving processes and identifying opportunities to scale.

You'll work directly with global agencies, app developers, SDKs and DSP partners, dig into raw data and API requests, and be responsible for understanding not only what is happening, but why, and what needs to change to improve results.

No previous advertising or AdTech experience is required. If you're technical, analytical, commercially minded and enjoy solving complex problems independently, we'll teach you the industry.

What you'll do

  • Own the day-to-day operation and performance of Mediaverse's programmatic activity across multiple partners and integrations.
  • Manage relationships with global partners, serving as a key technical and commercial point of contact.
  • Lead new partner integrations end to end: from setup and configuration through testing, validation, launch and ongoing optimization.
  • Monitor live activity, investigate anomalies and troubleshoot technical issues down to the protocol level, including raw API and OpenRTB requests and responses.
  • Analyze performance across partners, apps, countries, formats and integrations, and turn insights into actions that improve results, efficiency and scalability.
  • Own the economics of the activity: monitor revenue, partner and infrastructure costs, margins and profitability, and reconcile discrepancies against partner-reported data.
  • Build and improve automated reporting and operational processes using partner APIs, internal data and external platforms.
  • Research and evaluate new partners, technologies and formats, while proactively identifying opportunities to expand existing partnerships and grow revenue.

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's degree in a quantitative or technical field such as Engineering, Computer Science, Economics, Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.
  • Excellent written and spoken English, with strong communication skills.
  • Strong analytical skills and advanced proficiency with Excel or Google Sheets.
  • Comfortable working with APIs and structured data: reading documentation, understanding authentication, testing requests with tools such as Postman or curl, and analyzing nested JSON payloads against technical specifications.
  • Strong commercial judgment and the ability to reason about revenue, costs, margins and business impact.
  • A highly independent problem solver with strong ownership and attention to detail, able to take an unexplained issue, investigate it, prioritize effectively and drive it to the root cause.
  • Ability to work effectively and collaboratively in a fast-moving environment.

Nice to have

  • SQL.
  • Python or JavaScript for data analysis and automation.
  • Experience with BI or monitoring tools such as Looker, Tableau, Grafana or Metabase.
  • Previous experience in AdTech, programmatic advertising, RTB or digital monetization.

If you're curious, ambitious, data-driven and enjoy figuring out how complex systems work, we'd love to meet you.
